I emailed the company. Thought you might be interested in their reply:
The sugar free chocolate that we use is made on shared equipment that also produces milk chocolate. We know that there is some cross-contamination of milk into the sugar free, while the quantity is low we have chosen to inform sensitive consumers that it is present. If you have an allergy to milk, we would recommend returning the product for a refund.
